Bueno mi gente,
Llego el Miercoles de la Vieja Escuela!!! This video is from 1993. It's a medley of tracks featured on The Noise 3- the 5th or 6th Reggaeton album ever released. I like the medley of tracks, as it also shows the difference in romantic Reggaeton in 1993 compared to now with Baby Rasty y Gringo's "Cierra Los Ojos" which is still street. That is followed by Guanabanas Podrias with "Amigo" which I remember was played at various friend's funerals and was the most popular funeral song in Loiza until Hector y Tito's "Mataron Un Inocente". Isn't sad that we had favorite funeral songs? LOL! Anyways, the last track was one of my favorites as it is a Spanish remake of Queen Latifah's "Just Another Day". It's Memo y Vale's "Siete Dias", and it was the track that solidified Memo y Vale as master's of their game at the time as the best duo representatives of Hip Hop in the "underground" genre(before it was known as Reggaeton). Well, enough talkin... listen and watch!
Porque yo lo dije!
